Design Systems
Scaling consistency and accelerating delivery across teams and products.

Overview
A design system is more than a UI kit or style guide. It’s a shared framework that unites design, engineering, and brand into a single source of truth. It defines reusable components, patterns, and standards that ensure consistency, scalability, and accessibility across products.
When done well, a design system delivers:
-
Efficiency – faster design-to-dev handoffs, reduced rework.
-
Quality – unified patterns, accessibility built in.
-
Scalability – ability to expand products without fragmenting the experience.
My role
I lead cross-functional teams to build and evolve design systems that raise consistency, boost accessibility, and accelerate delivery.
My approach blends token architecture, component libraries, and clear documentation, enabling teams to ship faster without sacrificing quality.
In past projects, this has resulted in 40% faster handoffs, 30% less post-release rework, and adoption across multiple products and platforms.
OmniChat Unified Design System
Rebuilt and expanded OmniChat’s design system using Atomic Design principles and WCAG standards, unifying all product platforms and marketing brand assets under a single scalable system.
This created a shared foundation for teams to design, build, and release features faster, with higher quality and accessibility baked in from the start.
Outcomes
-
Consistency ↑ – unified patterns and components across all user touchpoints
-
Handoff time ↓ 40% – faster delivery without sacrificing quality
-
Accessibility compliance – WCAG standards embedded in all components
Learning Platform Design System

Design System Impact
Faster Delivery at Scale
Reduced design-to-development delivery time by up to 32% through streamlined workflows, early developer feedback, and a token-based architecture supporting reusable components.
Improved Engagement & Usability
Boosted user interaction and satisfaction, with examples like a 24% increase in daily active learners and over 100% growth in session length, supported by clear component variants and consistent UX patterns.
Brand Cohesion & Accessibility
Unified visual identity across products and platforms, embedding WCAG-compliant standards from day one to ensure inclusive, consistent experiences on desktop, tablet, and mobile.
